Default What's your idle rpm?

I am running a Brenspeed 93 tune and my car idles at 1200 rpm's for about the first minute after start up, then dropsto about 900 rpm. Is 900within a normal range or does it need to be lower? Sometimes it just seems kind of high.

Mine idles around 1000 when cold and then quickly drops to about 600- which to me seems just perfect (Ford 93 octane racing tune).

There's a setting in your tuner that will allow you to set your idle in park and when in gear. Mine is set at 850 in park and 750 in gear.

They all will idle aound 1.2k for up to a minute or so in warm weather then drop to whatever your tuner is set to. It doesn't sound as if anything is wrong with yours. Do you know how to access the custom settings in your tuner to see if it's set at 900rpm?

I think if you have UDP's Brent ups the idle a little to compensate, only my observation, I could be wrong.

Might want to get yours to a shop. Idle isn't supposed to go UP when in drive.

It sounds like you have a manual, if so the stock setting is about 750 neutral. For autos the stock idle setting is 720 neutral and 650 drive.

Will dropping the idle down to 750 from 1000 have any negative impacts after tuning?
