Default What is this?

For you auto guys, it is a little spring loaded like access tab on the passenger side of the shifter bezel. It doesn't snap down tightly, but sort of rocks a little and seems spring loaded although it doesn't open up.

If you pop the tab the console should lift up. Theres a secret 5-spd manual underneath there.

It is a way to shift the car out of park in case the battery goes dead or the Brake Switch fails. You stick your key in it and it allows you to take the car out of park.

If you read your owners manual you would know this.

I have read my owner's manual. Thanks for the answer. Did you get yourself off saying that?

No but if i have something i want to know about the car such as this The first thing I do is check the manual. And i gave a simple answer and some advise to check the owners manual.

Do you people understand how many posts are on this site and many other sites that are asking questions where the answer is clearly in the Owners Manual. How freakin hard is to pull it out and look through it. I mean come on. In the time it took him to come on here do a search for this answer which I doubt he did and then post the question he most likely could have found the answer in the Manual.

Not trying to bag but some things are simple and easy to find if you THINK

As for lldsandsll

It's obvious your a freakin moron. Lets see you read this post and then say reading is for ****. Stupid is as stupid does!!

I confess.

I have not read my owner's manual cover to cover.

My name is Bryan - I'm a non-complete reader.

I thought I had read it cover to cover but I have to say I learned something new each time. If the guy don't like helping a fellow stanger out, he ought to just keep his trap shut. Yea, I could have read and reread the manual, or even looked it up on other forums. The thing is, I asked for help and got BS from the guy. Kind of lets a fella know what he is made of.
