We wouldnt have a forum if people didnt ask questions .... i was thinking the same thing the other day when i was playing with it but i was encouraged enough to look through my owners manual . The only time i do that is when something goes wrong .

Im the kinda guy who doesnt read the directions when putting things together hate me for it but thats me.

I thought I had read it cover to cover but I have to say I learned something new each time. If the guy don't like helping a fellow stanger out, he ought to just keep his trap shut. Yea, I could have read and reread the manual, or even looked it up on other forums. The thing is, I asked for help and got BS from the guy. Kind of lets a fella know what he is made of.
Are you kidding me. I gave you the answer to your question did you even bother to read the first sentence i typed? I then simply gave you a suggestion to check your owners manual. Sorry if you get upset when people answer your questions and give you suggestions on where to locate this type of info. Jesus Christ pal get agrip. And i myself have not read the manual from cover to cover but i certainly went to it when i thought the answerto something i wanted to know would most likely be in it. For instance when i had the dealer replace the Smart Junction box and myKey Fobswould no longer work instead of taking it back to the dealer and telling them and having to leave my car i looked through the Owners Manual and guess what it told me how to re program the key fobs to the car. Do you know how to use the Index and look things up? You want to insult and take pot shots at me fine but expect them back. All I did was answer your question and help Maybe someone should grow up a little.

Stop being so dam sensitive for Christ sake.

Maybe i said itabrasively it was not meant to insult and for that I apologize but nothing else. But come on this is something you honestly should have known would be in the Owners Manual. It is after all common sense.

It was just a simple question. It was the sarcasm that was included at no charge that was inappropriate. According to you, we should do everything possible before coming to the forum for answers. If so, that would eliminate over half the threads. Not sure if the forum was designed to be used that way. I'm not so sensitive, but when I get stabbed in the back, you can bet I'm going to turn around and see who done it.

I confess.

I have not read my owner's manual cover to cover.

My name is Bryan - I'm a non-complete reader.

And I gave you a simple answer and suggested you also check your owners manual. You are saying things i never said and trying to read between the lines. I never said anything of the sort. Should you check your owners manual for things like this Hell Yes, that's why ford gave it to you. Should you look in your owners manual to ask a question about lowering your car or CAI? NO!!Again COMMON SENSE!!

By the way did you do asearch on this forum for your answer? Because that question has been asked before. And your right it would eliminate 1/2 the threads on this board but it would also make the search feature work better by cutting out stuff that has been posted 100 times.

This is one of the things i hate about typed talking you cannotdetect tone or determine what someone means. I apologized for being abrasive with my reply if you cannot accept that like a man then I do not know what to tell you.
