Default Shelby GT500 For $44,000

I went to the dealer yesterday and they have a vista blue with white striped Shelby GT500 for $44,000 and a vista blue convertable GT500 for $47,000 with no mark up, are all the GT500's in your area going down to?

Went to the only dealer with a GT500 about 2 weeks ago, and it was still 65k.

Sticker says $44K. But i am 100% sure if you ask the dealer about it he will tell you about the $20K mark up.

ohsixgt1217, that is what I was told. I saw a $45k sticker price on a GT500, when I asked the guy, he told me +$20k.

The markup is on the sticker at dealers around here they call it market adjustment on the sticker. I personally have vowed not to buy another Ford from the dealerships around here that do it. Ford needs to get a handle on the dealers that do this.

Yeah usually the markups are on the front window and there wasnt anything else just the sticker. Will defintely ask next time I go, probably wont be there if that is the price.

The Vista Blue GT500 at my dealer has the $20,000 markup hand written in top the top leftnext tothe sticker. Ford is telling dealers to markup, I doubt if they would let one go at sticker price. Not until they start to have sales drop off drasticly and they start to pile up on lots.

you should have wipped out the checkbook,
written a $45,000 check and told the salesman
to "keep the change"! that's what I would have
done (if i had the cash to cover ofcourse!).
