I just ordered my C& L Racer CAI from Brenspeed...I was told i will reciece it next week some time

Any one else have this CAI.....Opinions..feedback..Thanks..

 

I have had that intake and brenspeed tune on my car for about a month and a half. No regrets whatsoever. Better mpg and plenty more power. You won't be disappointed, trust me!

I dont like my CAI because it quited down my SLPs! This is random though, because it doesn't pertain to your C&L.

But yeah, noticing better mpg... so its a toss up.

 

Really..i thought it would get louder with more air going in the Motor..i have SLP..with have to see if i notice that

My guess is it has to do with the tune...

I started up the car with my 87 tune with the JLT and it was still loud as always, but the car was sputtering because the tune was not made for a CAI. So yes, the car was still loud with the CAI.

But I had to then install the JLT canned tune, and the car was now quiet. b@m@ chip's tune was also quiet, actually more quiet than the canned JLT tune.
