So what comes stock 3.31 or 3.55? I keep seeing both.
Depends on the GT package......I believe most of the 07 GT Premiums came with 3.55s or if you ordered with that gear ratio. I could be wrong.

Stock on all 2007 GT's (mine included) is 3.31, unless you order the 3.55 gears. That's why I'm leaning toward 3.73, because I want to retain daily driver / street car versatility, but also, like Ricky Bobby said, "I wanna go fast!"

Thanks

REALSPEED Automotive in Long Island. Many 05 -07 Mustangs have gotten there gears done there with absolutely NO problems. The owner was an engineer for Steeda...knows his sh*t. You will not be dissapointed. PM me for more info.

I know this is an old thread, but I discovered something in my SCT xcal2 tuner. It does indeed have a parameter for 3.90's. I got mine from Brenspeed. I'm going with 3.90's and my installer said he prefers gears made by Yukon. Says they're quiet and trouble free. So I'll probably go with those.

I'd love to get gears.

My girlfriend's dad has a Dakota with a 4.7L V8 and 3.92 gear ratio. That truck has great acceleration, even weighing more than the stang. Of course, his 1st, 2nd, ...etc gears are probably not the same as ours, but it made me really want that extra acceleration. Another thing about his truck is that the engine is a sweet-sounding 2-valve V8.....got that distinct old school thumping sound.

I'm considering the 3.90's also.

Here's another option that I haven't seen before. Pro 5.0 gears. Accoring to the website, "The new 3.90 gears from Pro-5.0 are a great gear to bridge the gap between the ever popular 3.73s and 4.10s. Known as being stronger and quieter than any other manufacturer!"

Anyone have them?
