How do you guys clean your cars?

what about those shamees? they come in a tube and you dry the car with them. you can wring them out when they become to full of water and just keep drying. has anybody tried those?

If you do it right, it works. I've never had any streaks with mine in the past or anything.

wash 1 or 2x a week, wax 1x a month. but in the summer, it is more important to keep her real clean because any water or dirt baking in the sun is real bad news for your paint. wheels, i use eagle 1 aluminum leaner/polish. windows, i use that free stuff at the gas stations 
. tires, armoral spray to keep it black and wet looking. i use automotive soap and a sheepskin mit. i dry my best by towel, then take her out for the fresh air to dry her.

Um first, I use soap, but I'd get some expensive car soap, regualr dishwasher soap takes the wax of the car. Then I'd by a nice sponge to get it cleaned right, Then I dry it off with a clean towel, and then I'd wax it by hand and buff that bad boy... then i'd clean my rims and armerall(is this spelt right?) them suckers..

just to let u know you shouldnt use armor all on tires, it causes them to dry out and eventually rot

My car has this Simoz protection that is suppose to protect the car for five years without wax. I love waxing cars but being that my wife bought this as a birthday present she bought this option. Will someone explain this stuff to me. I have been told that this protection is not really that and a couple bag of chips.
