Ford should offer it as an option on the Mustang.

Partsbill, do you have the Ford Part # for that visor or the homelink unit so that I can possibly pick one up. I would appreciate your help because that is exactly what I wanted to put up there in that empty space.

Default RE: homelink installed

the part number on the visor that I used was 4W1Z 5404105-AC bad part it list for $500.65
I did some research this morning and notice that all our Lincoln MKZ's on the lot have home link in the visor also, part# for charcoal black interior is 7H6Z 5404105-AA it only retails for $94.85, it has the same homelink unit in the visor as the Town Car visor that I used, so for under a $100.00 you can install the homelink system in your mustang using a Fordoem part, but before you order one go to your local Lincoln Dealer and check to see if they have a MKZ with a charcoal black interior, we did not have one on the lot, and I notice that Ford uses the same part number for the light stone interior as the charcoal black interior, also any Ford, Lincoln or Mercury would have the same unit in the visor, so you might be able to pick one up cheap in a junk yard, even if it's a different color you can remove the face plate and paint it.
