Sometimes when using remote start my car wont start on the first try ... Never had a problem with it not cranking when I turn the key though.

Does it crank over? Or not do anything when you turn the key?

I was thinking maybe its the sensor on the clutch but that wouldnt turn over at all. Its gotta be a sensor somewhere, I dont think it would be the alternator or the battery. That would just cause it not to start at all.

But before you take it to the dealer, return the intake and the tune back to stock so they wont blame that on it.

Actually come to think of it. Everytime I disconnect the battery to swap out the off-road h-pipe when I reconnect everything and go to start it up it takes 2 trys to start up. Only happens when swapping out the h-pipe so I guess it has something to do with disconnecting the battery or the O2 sensors.

Maybe it is something electrical.

My friends Caddy used to do that. If I can recall correctly I think the problem was with the fuel pump or fuel pump regulator...something of that sort. The engine wasnt gettin enough gas on the first turn of the key to start.

^ That could be it as well, I didnt think of that until you mentioned it. Arwing, try turning the key and letting it sit for a moment before cranking it.
