Got the MRT's also. It felt great to rip that prop rod out from the factory

Just bought a set of cdc hood struts. They look like the mrt only they come in raw stainless steel. The workmanship is terriable.I work in a machine shop and spent 2 hours deburring and cleaning these things up.The metal is discolored from the welding, and the long pieces had metal scares the full length. After putting them on(i plasted them to give them a matte finish) the drivers side bracket(top)hits the hood.I put a small piece of rubber between them so the paint does not get damaged.Wish i had known about the mrt's.Too little to late.
