Default MODS??

Hey guys,

I just got the stang out for summer and I have about 1000 bucks give or take to put into it. I just cant put my finger on what exactly i want to do. Forced induction is in the near future prob this fall but in the mean time i just need some suggestions on what to do. It doesnt matter show or go.

I have the mods in my sig cervini side exhaust kooks lts cai and 93 brenspeed tune.

Heres some things im thinking about.
Gears 3.73s is the prob the way ill go considering im going to get blown in the near but not near enuf future.
Painted Calipers
Delete Plates
Maybe a chrome grill
New emblems replacing the GT
I really wanted to add some gauges but mines well just wait because id have to replace something for the boost and really couldnt find gauges i really liked yet.

Those were just some things im thinking of im open to all suggestions i just dont know which road to go ... just seeing waht you guys think i should do, It seems like a lot of money but 1000 bucks doesnt go that far on a stang lol

If you want a performance upgrade The best bang for your buck is definately nitrous. It really works well. If you want bling I'd say a billet grill or maybe a shelby rear spoiler. IMHO

You should be able to do gears, grill, calipers, and emblems for under 1k. If youre going FI in the future, dont waste your money on delete plates.

Definitely the gears. You might consider the 4.10s depending on the kind of FI you're contemplating.

ZEX kit is good but you could spend nearly a grand on the whole set. (e.g. with the window switch, remote opener, heater, blow down tube...) and then there's the question of what to do with it when you put on your FI.

Nitrous is easy to install and easy to remove. I am going FI next month, I already have two guys that want my nitrous. I have about $900 invested with all the accesories. I'll be selling it for$600. They will also help un-install it so they will see how to re-install it on thier car. I've had it for seven months so It's been worth it to me. And as far as track only use, I use it alot on the street. Just the same as a supercharger, when you want it to smoke a pesky STI it's there and it's very impressive.

if your gettin blown soon and your gonna get gears... plan for some big fat rear tires.... drag radials would be best..... your sig doesnt say anything about rims and tires... but maybe get some new rims...at least 10" or 10.5" in the rear and some beefy meat to hook with the gears and F/I
