Never sign for broken boxes...Fedex is awesome because they offer a real signature delivery service...unlike the brown box boys (that like to leave your hard earned money by the door)

As a Ups driver we only leave boxes by the door for the customers convenience and is only done in "safe neighborhoods" for customers that aren't home all due to their jobs, lives etc. And i got nothing bad to say about Fedex besides the fact that all their customers always seem to become our customers. And i wouldnt doubt it that fedex broke it. It happends call Fedex they sure replace it for free. I know we do it for our customers.

I don't get it...How do you judge where to place peoples hard earned money? police reports? talking to locals?
Anyhow ups seems to deliver while the local highscoolers are walking home from school, passing by my house looking at such boxes in front of my house....The thought of a box worth hundreds of dollars unattended scares me
especially when the fedex boys have places setup for pickup items and ups doesnt... I've had items delivered and I didn't recieve them only to be called a "liar" by your highly trained fellow employees...Never again.....I don't shop at e=stores that exclusively use ups

Sorry for your experience, You would be shocked how many false claims(we see the customer pick up the box and walk in the door and do a claim the next day) we get but you should of got re-embursed for it. Talk to your driver and tell them you dont want boxes "driver released"

I received a StreetScene Grille and Fed-Ex delivered it. It was
packed with some styrofoam blocks that were at some point
in time on the mounting tabs with tape. They were not when it
arrived to me. The box was some cheap china box that would
not protect anything during transit. The tabs had poked thru the
box and left nice little holes. Two of the tabs were broken off.
The grill also had a mar on the front of the fog light opening.
The ends were crushed and looked like an accordion. I called
the seller and they said to have Fed-Ex do a pick-up for damage.
I think it was destined to be damaged seeing how the manufacturer
packed the item OEM. Now I have no grille and it will be weeks
before Fed-Ex honors the claim, (if they do) and the seller wont
ship another until the claim is paid in full. I think the grille had been
previously installed as the fog light mounting holes had screw threads
as if someone had already mounted fogs, tried to install, marred the
front, broke tabs and then tried to resell the item on eBay. $164
later and I have no grill....... Fed-Ex, UPS, whatever, if it is not
packed well, it will get damaged. Stayed in a hotel in Dallas once
that was facing the rear of a big UPS distribution center and when
the morning came around before daylight, you could see these guys
unloading trucks and just throwing the packages as far as they could
in the direction of the conveyor belts. Some 100 feet away. I could
not believe it. One after another, carrying items to heavy to throw
and kicking the packagescloser tothe conveyor belt that had fallen short.
