Default Gas tank pain

I'm sure this subject has been discussed before. Has anyone with the newer mustangs have troubles filling the gas tank? If my tank is at least half full, it wont take any gas no matter how I try to pump it. Slowly or with the nozzle half out, it doesn't matter. I was told by my dealer that there is a fuel pump that pumps the fuel into a second tank, and if that's mostly full it creates a vapor lock? I wrote to Ford Co. and they blew me off saying they aren't aware of any problems or recalls. I know of someone that replaced their tank and it still had problems. This is very annoying when I'm trying to get gas before a trip or before a price hike. Anybody have any suggestions?

The Gas Pump Nozzle has a lot to do wiht it alos. I can not use a few of the nozzles at my normal gas station becasue they have this problme yet others are just fine and never give me any trouble at all. Find a good nozzle at the stations you use and try to use it every time.

So try a different gas station than the one used before and see if that helps!

I was just about to come in here today and start a topic on this. It has happened so many times to me as well. I try to fill so many times, but it won't let me. Like a mind of its own, and its a new gas station, so I highly doubt its the actual pump, it takes me forever to fill it up like that, i have to stop and go the whole way through. It Sucks

It happened to me last week the first time at the same gas station I always go. To fill it I pulled the lever just half way and it worked.
