What about liquid glass, anyone try this product? My biggest fear is swirl marks. How do I avoid them? The weather is now nice here in Michigan, and time to wax my baby.
I welcome advice here people. Thanks.

Meguiar's deep crystal system....3 steps and its cheap by any wax standards and works best on dark colored cars. I use it and the pics really dont do it justice. Deep reflective shine. You can buy them separately and get Meguiars Liquid Gold Class for the final coat of wax instead of the 3 step in the deep crystal system. Its been around for years and years and can be found at any Autozone or Murray discount auto. Maybe even Meijers stores as well. JMO J I have been detailing for 15+ years and I use thissystem on any blue, red, black, or any other dark colored car!

what is the best "cheap" wax that is made to make dark colored cars really shine???

You can safely use Meguiars ScratchX to remove minor scratches and swirl marks, then as Mygt500 said Meguiars deep crystal system will give you the best results for the money, it is important to use a pure polish before applying the wax. If possible avoid all in one products (Cleaner, Polish, wax) as those can not do everything well, check out this page, it has a lot of good info.

I use a coat of maguiers synthetic sealant, then 2 coats ( 24 hours apart ) of p21s Carnuba wax. The p21s is a bit expensive (around $40 for small jar) but i detail for a living and my car is my obsession. lol. Also the p21s has to be applied roughly every 2 weeks, but the sealant lasts about 2 good months.
I love the p21s wax. I've used Zaino but it was too much of a pain to apply. By the way, you can also buy the S100 wax, which is the version they market to motorcycles, but it's basically the same product for half the price.
