Biggest decision I would have to say is whether you want to go with an off road pipe or not. If you do, you might not want to invest in aftermarket mufflers as they are way too loud combined with an off road pipe.
Other than that youtube has tons of video and audio files of exhaust systems to listen to.

Nearly everytime a pedestrian is walking by my car at a stoplight or stop sign, they give it a good look. Then when I take off, their head whips around with a smile or look of amazement on their face to see what's making that sweet, sweet sound. Of course, its not deafening, but it can also be used instead of the horn.
Congrats on the new GT
You can go loud or you can go for understated glory. Personally, I prefer the latter. Also, no drone

If you can handle some slight drone at about the 2kRPM range. Honestly the drone is not bad because you rarely stay within that RPM range very long. You will not regret this choice i promise.
My personal opinion on the Loudmouths is to stay away. I think they have an overall terrible obnoxious sound to them.

I'm running the Corsa's & they are great. Sound good when you start the car, sound good at idle, no drone & when you whack it folks look to see whats making the noise... did I say "No Drone"
I don't think that you can get a good idea as to how they sound by listening to a static car. You need to ride in it, then stand on the curb and listen as it goes by if you really want to hear it..

If drone bothers you, corsa 100%. I put mine on last weekend and I've been smiling all week. I was in the same boat as you ... listen to as many clips as you can but they really don't do any of them justice. Find a mustang club close by is the best bet.

I have the magnaflow magnapacks and they sound great and have little to no drone at all and a deep exhaust note. Sorry I dont have a clip and the website for magnaflow doesn't do the exhaust sound justice. Here is a link http://www.magnaflow.com/04sound/04american.aspHope it helps!
