Default GT/CS - Lowered?

Funny story, I think my car may be slightly lowered. I go to jack her up with my garage jack, and it won't fit! So I went to a dealer to measure how high off the ground the wheel wells are compared to those on a regular GT, and the numbers I came up with amount to my car being lower by 3/4" at the front wheel wells and 1/8" higher in the rear wheel wells. now I feel like my car is leaning forward a little (which I like). Is this all in my head?

Isn't the california special lower than a standard GT? I like my 1.5 inch drop all around personally. It's perfect.

Looks like you need to lower the rear also then!

See, that's what I thought, but I also thought it may be the chin spoiler. Turns out the GT/CS chin spoiler is exactly 1.5" lower than the normal GT's front fascia. but thenthe other measurements were there too

You are correct about the CS 1.5 thing, its just referring to the chin spoiler not being lowered at all. Maybe your springs settled in a bit early and gave your front end a lower look. Never really heard of it being that much of a difference as yours though. Are they the black colored stock springs?

Yeah, they're the black springs, and I measured ground up to the chin on mine and it checks out vs. another GT, but the front wheel well its .75" lower.

You guys got me all worked up so I went outside my office and measured. I can barely get my finger straight in between my tire and fenders and as for the chin spoiler clearance to the hot LA ground, a hair under 5". Im starting to feel that I might be flying around in a hover craft. On a serious note, I drive it very little. And when I do I have to be more careful because as mentioned it is a lot easier to scrape. But it sure looks good in my eyes
