I see them at the track a lot. Those guys have big steel *****. I'd hate to see what Hertz claims for replacement value if you wreck it. Someone with insurance that excludes "racing surface" could be screwed.

i feel somewhat sorry for someone who has to
rent a vehicle, then sneak it to a track......

LOL AWESOME!

I had a friend that rented a prowler back when they first came out several years ago. He tore that bish up! It was awesome...

The only down part is thinking about the poor soul who buys it used later...

So can you get a photo of the Shelby Plate that has the GT-H's number on it? We need to document all the cars that are being raced and abused, for future buyers.[:@]

^^^^^^ that's not right

Cars like that should be used - not pranced around like models.I love seing them out on the track. I only worry about the chance of them getting screwed by what Hertz might claim as "replacement value".

That and when Hertz goes to sell the car after a few years, some poor schmuk buys a raced car that has a lot of wear and tear on it.

Any one that buys one of these cars when they go to sell them HAS to know that it was most likely driven like it was stolen. As cool as it might be to own one, I would not think of buying one from a rental car company. But that's just me...

IfI were rich and had money to **** away i'd buy one just to sayI have one. It's no fun to drive. It has stock brakes, and you cant heel/toe with an automatic
