Hello guys.

I just installed JBA Longtubes and o/r h pipe with no mufflers, and now the car is WAY too loud for my taste! lots of drone, trumpeting and just very obnoxious.

Previously I had the whole stock system, and I had a muffler shop muffler delete, I loved the sound of the car like that, just like having SLP loudmouths.

which axle back can I buy to get back a deep, mellow sound at idle, and a good roar at WOT?
I am desperate for opinions

See the thing is you have L/T hearders AND a O/R H pipe that alone is overkill if you dont like loud lol. Look for the ford racing GTA's i heard they are barely louder than stock and have great tips so those with the headers and h pipe should be a mellowed out loud.

 

Well, I do like loud, I mean, I hade "home made" Loudmouth before the the longtubes and h pipe, but running with no mufflers with my current setup is just WAY to loud!

Theres quite a few Borla setups on Youtube, a few also haveo/r pipes.

 

No LTs for bill and yes it will change the sound....should be deeper and louder

 

With headers and off road pipes things can get very loud, try putting your stock mufflers back on and see if that tones it down enough. It's amazing how much the cat convertors actually reduce noise.
