Default FRPP Stingers installed w/video clips

I installed the Stingers on Thursday and have had a smile on my face ever since. I bought them from www.capaldiracing.comfor $427 shipped. Great service! Quick shipping! I couldn't be happier.

Here's the video of stock, with no mufflers, and finally with the Stingers. Enjoy

I dont think there was that much to begin with but i could never get the damn things to seal (common problem by the way with all after market mufflers i think)....so i went to autozone and got 2 of these....after taking the clamps that came with the mufflers with these....I had no leaking whatsoever.....and the drone was minimized even more.

I had a hard time installing the drivers side clamp. I tightened it all the way down and was still able to remove the muffler from the over axle. I finally got it to work by rotating the clamp 180 deg.

As far as drone, I had the car out and about all day today, and found that the drone was easily managed, however; I live in a relatively flat area. I can see how these mufflers could be a problem in more hilly areas. I found that I had to make the drone happen, under normal driving I was rarely in the drone band per say.

Mat, what h-pipe works well with these mufflers. I'm open to suggestions, JLT intake and a tune is next.

Matt,
I just noticed that your from Fishers, my wife is from Anderson, her whole family lives there. So that pretty much means I'll be living around there as soon as I am done with the military.

Absolutely. I did the same thing when I installed my stingers. I couldn't get them to seal, so I used U shaped exhaust clamps and not only did my leaks go away, but drone was noticably reduced. Good to know that someone else had the same experience.
