Default Zex install problems & ?s

The instructions don't say where to put the arming switch ground wire so I chasis grounded it.
Correct?
When trying to program the managment unit to read WOT the blinking lights say it's learning
but when I test it the solenoids activate at the slightest touch of the peddle.
I've tried reprogramming it 8-10 times w/ no luck. No techs available by phone so here I am.
Any advice appreciated.

Dumb question:

Check to make sure you've got your TPS sensor wire attached to the correct wire going into the throttle body and that you've got a good connection. Also, realize that sometimes cars aren't consistent in the color wires used in the harnesses (e.g. I just hooked up a powered internal AM/FM antenna following TacoBills instructions and his were colors were different than mine).

I grounded my box to the frame as well. No worries there.

When I did my 'teaching' the solenoids do open just a hair short of me getting the pedal all the way to the floor.

Our cars acutally are WOT BEFORE the pedal goes all the way to the floor... the whole fly by wire thing... LOL

I've heard this problem before... if after double checking that everything is hooked up correctly it could very well be a bad zex control unit...

Thanks for the replies.
Wiring and grounds check out and I figure if the solenoids are opening at the
lightest touch of the peddle then the TPS connection is ok I just can't get it to
recognize WOT. I can't get it to go into learning mode again either. I'm
thinking bad NMU(n2o managment unit). Looks like I wait for Zex and
Brenspeed to open on Tues. $#@#% My wife of 18 years dropped the
bomb that she's leaving me when I was 2 hours into the install, well now
the **** is gone and I want to crack this bottle open. NOW

I love my car

Get a good lawyer. Dont let that b@#$% take your stang. If it looks like she's going to get it, burn it to the ground.
