Just got back from Maui today, and was surprised when we arrived. It seems that the Mustang V6 vert is the official state rental car of Hawaii! Driving from the airport to our resort, 31 miles, we counted 43 of them. One day, we drove from Ka'Anapali to Hana, 81 miles, and counted 113 on the way there alone. Throughout the time we were there, everywhere we looked, there were V6 verts! Went to a restaraunt for dinner, and there were 11 in the parking lot. I got sick of seeing them! There are more of them than any other car on the roads. You could rent any color you wanted as long as it was Red, Windveil Blue, or White! I got so sick of seeing them, I was actually glad I didn't have one. It was the same on all the islands we were on.

Would you rather see 113 Chrysler Sebring convertibles??? WTF?
I get a kick when looking at all the V-6 rentals in Malibu, which are easily spotted by the bump guard on the doors.

Maui is where I drove my first 2k+ mustang. After that I decided I had to have one. That road to Hana is a damn good time. Me and my buddy had to switch off driving it

Yep, I got SICK of them![:'(][:'(][:'(]I bleed blue. Where I live, on a cool, damp, night, you can hear a Chevy rust! I don't get a kick out of seeing that many of any bone stock cars together, and those cars don't make me sport wood. If they were modified/personalized, maybe that would have been better. I will say though, that I'm glad I had a Cadillac instead of one of those verts.

I agree!!! I was there two months back and I was sick of weeing them as well... Everyone has that dang stripe on the door... The only time I saw a GT i about creamed myself...
