I also plan on ordering a 1 piece DS soon, and was wondering what brand is the best and where to order. I've heard many good things about Denny's, so that will probably be the place. Is this something that can be done at home, or is it preferred for a shop to do it? Thanks

The Carbon Fiber drivesaft from LMPerformance! Handles 1000+ HP and weight 23 lbs. Just drop it in.

1000 bucks? no thanks I'll pay almost half of that for a aluminum one, since I dont plan to make 1000 hp ever... (on this car)

It also costs $1000 for just the shaft and you can get them cheaper. As I understand it Spyder's is an actual Ford DS and costs about $500 and Denny's is about $600 with gauntee you wont break it. Thats not to say the carbon fiber isnt a great shaft I have looked at it but for $1000 it's just too much.
Another question I would have for Denny's and Spyder user's is how quier are they? Is there any extra noise level with either?
