installed zex today but can't get it dynoed yet. anyone else running zex and did it need dyno tuned or were you able to retard the timing per there recomendations and go with it? Im ready to go try it but dont want to do any damage because im to impatient to wait for the dyno. any input would be appreciated

If you have a tuner just pull out 2 degrees of timing and spray away. Or you can go from 91 to 89 tune your choice. I just take out 2 degrees for a 75 shot and have been doing it over a year. No dyno tune but the only reason I haven't is because I'm getting an S/C this winter. Hopefully.

Get a bottle warmer too.

Follow the timingretard instructions with the ZEX kit. Get some colder plugs, Summit has the best price I've seen, under $10 each.I have run before, 125 shot with 91 fuel, 91 tune,4 degrees retard, no problems at all. Now I run 91 fuel, 93 tune, 4 degrees advance with Snow Performance alcohol injection kit, no problems, and she flies! Well now, the Zexkit is off and The S/C is on!
