Go with the short plate. Something about that long plate doesn't look right to me. Maybe if the long plate was made in two pieces instead of just going over the gap between the window switch and the rest of the door it would look better.

The long plate looks different and cool. The short plates look too busy.

Long Plate looks better, I just wonder though, if that sucker would burn the crap out of your arm on a hot sunny day!

Wont those pieces get hot in the summer and cold in the winter....I say go without...JMO
