I dont believe its a silly thread at all.Ive put my car on a diet and shaved about 250lbs!Thats nothing to sneeze at.I could cut alot more but I want to keep my interior intact.I will be doing the rear seat delete however.
What did you do to cut 250 pounds? I'm sure others would like to know as well.
Thats what i would like to know.

Is the AMP cluster the group of electronics behind the Shaker1000?

If you have side air bags in the seats the passenger weighs 40lbs. So add that to your total and you get around 120 lbs. Not bad.

Batttery: The stocker is behind the front wheels so that helps.
I would replace it with an Odyssey PC680 Drycell. Less than 15 lb.
I would not use this without a battery charger if I didnt drive the car every day.
Cranking Amps are fine but they dont have a lot of reserve capacity.
