Okay thanks for the input...
I was paranoid b/c one time I was going thru the TSB list and
saw something on there about the plastic pieces and the paint
ford used, it said something about they updated to a new
interior paint that was much better etc...but I didn't
look at it to see if it was for our year and model...I will have to go back..my interest at the time was the tank.

 

Yeah, it scratches easily... but it is also easy to fix as well...

Hmm... well, I just smooth it back down again. I suppose you could use a sandpaper or something, but I juast rubbed it back into submission...

 

Rub down a scratch. OK.[8D]The first few days after bring the car home, we got a few. Now it has stopped because we got seat belt extenders and you don't have to go digging down there to plug in the belt and also I informed my wife to watch all her diamond rings and such.

 

When my wife gets in the passenger seat she drags her purse across the glove compartment door and has scratched and scuffed it. I am very careful but I see marks on other interior plastic including the driver side door panels, and I am the only one that drives the car. I don't know if they will come off, I haven't tried to rub them out yet.

Gidyupgo where can I get the seat belt extenders you mentioned?
