When my wife gets in the passenger seat she drags her purse across the glove compartment door and has scratched and scuffed it. I am very careful but I see marks on other interior plastic including the driver side door panels, and I am the only one that drives the car. I don't know if they will come off, I haven't tried to rub them out yet.

Gidyupgo where can I get the seat belt extenders you mentioned?

Your Ford dealer can give them to you or he can order them for free. They are about 8 inches long and really help.

I bought my '05 used with about 10k miles on the car and it was spotless... Except for the console looked like he had a chain saw bouncing around in there... There are also some nice scrathes on the metal cover on the steering wheel that I'm not too keen on.. I'll bet mostly due to rings... [:@]

With few exceptions, the materials used in my '05 interior are petty crappy, but the console plastic is the worst. Its like wax almost....no good.

I have been considering covering the upper part of the console with something (leather/vinyl?).

Don't get me started on the seat fabric.

That has to be the one main aggrevation I have with my stang..............it dont take much to blemish the interior pieces! I wish just as much went into the interior as it did to the exterior!!! But, the more expensive the interiorpiecesthe more the price goes up so I guess its a trade-off!!!
