Cervini Ducktail spoiler
Anyone that hasCervini's body pieceshave problems getting it to look good painted? I brought mine in to a shop, they a basically saying its a piece of crap. I'm not sure if they just didn't prep it properly or if they are right. Cervini's is closed now, I'll have to call them tommorrow. Anyway you cant really tell until its painted then as you look at it you can see waves all down the main piece. Also pits and the spots where the screws go in are visable from the top. Did any of your shops primer your pieces in the prep process? This shop said they just got the oil off and painted it like they do factory bumpers and other factory pieces. They said they would sand the clear coat again and see if they can smooth it out, but I don't think that will do a whole lot.. Doesn't even come close to the quality of the factory hood scoop. No way I'd put it on a new car, as it looks now.

RE: Cervini Ducktail spoiler
Well after reading the instructions which the shop said they didn't want to copy.....they say they are supposed to spray 3-4 coats of flexible primer. Just hard to find quality shops anymore. They all want to take your money and send you on your way. I could have brought the pieces into work and got them sprayed like that. Brought it to a body shop for a good quality prep and paint job, sheesh. Now I get to decide if I just take my parts and go elsewhere and pay extra to have it stripped and redone, or let them do it right.
