Yea, I think I'm going to go for it. I've left a message for Lidio to call me and if the answers to my questions are good I'll book a date.......

Lideo at Alternative Performance is the only one I would ever take my car to. He has a good rep and has bee in business for years. I have personally been going to him for the past 15 years. He just did the tuning and bolt on mods to my 06. In fact, my car is their right now getting pullys. He did a vortec blower on my buddies 06, but seems to really be pushing the wipple now.

Go Blue 48044,

I basically have the same set up you do with my car other that the 4:10 gear. Are you an auto or stick? I have a 5-speed and am considering the 4:10, but am afraid it will be to much. I see you live in Macomb...me too. 21 & card. Where you at?

With the HO Whipple you'll have traction problems even with 3.31, IMHO 4.10 will be overkill for street use.

I'm at 22 and Romeo Plank. But I get carry out from El Charro's at 21 card all the time..........So I guess you could say were nieghbors LOL. I do have a 5 speed stick.Lidio installed my 4.10's.A couple of things to consider here.1.How far do you drive in traffic to work?If you sit in rush hour all day 4.10's with a five speed SUCKS.2.Gas mileage........ I lost close to 3 mpg going from 3.55's to 4.10's. With that being said it is ALOT of bang for your buck. You will notice an extreme amount of exceleration. If you like to street race or get to the track you deffinatley want the 4.10's. 500.00 installed I believe. However if you want to S/C one day like me I'm told 4.10's are to big.Hope this helped more than confused you.Good Luck....By the way what color is the Stang I'll have to look out for ya.If you see me stop me and you can drive mine with the 4.10's to see for yourself.

A friend recommended Lidio to me when I was ready to get my CAI and tune -- and I have been very pleased with the results. Just stopped to see Lidio again after his dyno day where we talked about gears for my car and I am going to have him set me up with gears and dyno tweak my tune. You will be very happy with the results, quality, and the obvious knowledge and skill at Alternative Auto.

Hi Guys, anybody had any experience with "Alternative Auto" South of Detroit?

http://www.alternativeauto.com/prods...-3valve46.html

I'm looking to get my 06 GT Supercharged and these guys seem to know their stuff. They use the Whipple charger system, is that respected?

Thanks for any input

Marcus
I've got Alternative Auto's tune for my Marauder and it's fantastic. I replaced another after-market tune with it and the difference was very noticeable, not to mention the improvement over stock. Lidio is the man, and really knows how to tune these Ford V8s. Highly recommended.
