Default I'm looking for a GT 500 - Any tips?

I'm looking to buy a new GT 500. The local dealers are hiking the price over sticker price. I know this is a hot new model and all, so if that's the price, so be it. However, I'm one who's not afraid to take a road trip or pay to have it shipped. So, assuming I'm willing to travel anywhere in the US to get one of these beasts, can anyone offer some insider tips on some dealers who are willing to bargin?

Thanks a lot,

The only tip I can offer is to ask yourself why you want a GT500 at the inflated price the stealers are demanding. Sure, it's a Ford GT500 (as opposed to a born and bred Shelby) but you can get more car for less bucks if you look at getting a new GT modified to exactly your own personaltastes by a professional shop.
Have you also considered a Roush or Saleen?

Just my 2cents. Good luck with whatever you choose.

$68?! Wow. I've already done quite a bit better than that. I've already got a standing offer for around $47K. Just figured there would be somebody out there willing to sell for sticker price. Oh well.

I would just order a car direct fromShelby Las Vegas and have it built to your specs.

I saw a Shelby GT by WWC (only 25 wil be built)that was very nice or have them bulid you the V6 (pics below).

You could have a Shelby and it would be waymore unique then the GT500.

The GT500 is a rip off at 20-30K over sticker and not even rare at that.
