Default Microfiber cleaning

Probably not the bestforum to ask this question and I apologize if it should be somewhere else, butI know this forumgets a ton of regularvisibility and I need an answer pretty quickly.

I placed an order and received a bunch of new microfiber towels for use on my gorgeous Mustang, and my wife is planning on washing them today before I use them for the first time. Before she throws them in the washer,I want to make sure the soapshe uses is not the worst stuff possible, so I thought I'd ask those of you who might know.I don't have any "special" soap that was designed specifically for cleaning microfibers so we have to resort to what we can get in a local store. The question is, does it matter what laundry soap you use (Tide, Woolite, etc)?I know you shouldn't use fabric softener on them, but what soap is best to clean them without making them too harsh/rough/scratchy?

Any detergent will do. NO FABRIC SOFTENER in wash or dryer.

I do them in a separate load along with aplicator pads.

I asked that very same question to the guy I bought my towels from (a vendor at a car show). He said exactly what the others just said. Normal detergent is fine. No fabric softener.

Don't forget to rip the tags off (if they have them) to prevent scratching.
