Default STEEDA CAI KIT

Well, my kit and flash is installed, AWESOME PERFORMANCE NOW!! But I must say that the new elbow in my opinion is FUGLY!! The only reason it is still on in place of the factory tube is the package claims 8 rwhp and 8 lbs torque at the wheels!
I would like others opinions on the elbow with the ugly blue hose, also who believes the 8 and 8 claim to the wheels? Because if it is really 2 rwsp then I will install the factory tube like the Shelby GT!

THANKS!!

Well some people claimed they got 3-5 gain maybe from it...but the stock is worse cause it can collapse but you arent that modded so you should be fine.

I think you can probably get new gaskets in whatever color you want...

I hear you, I hate the look of these blue things. That's the main thing that kept me from installing the elbow. That plus someone who reported here or on another forum that they couldn't measure a difference with and without elbow on the dyno.

For now I use the stock elbow which looks good to me, has plenty of clearance, and gets the job done.

Really?! I bought the Steeda intake because of the hi/floinlet tube....I think the factory intake looks like pooh. I guess different strokes for different folks....

I am very happy with my Steeda/SCT tune combo and consider it the best money spent on my car so far. It made a noticable difference on the way my car takes off.

Let me tell ya, the Elbow stays!! 2 reasons, one with the stock tube the whole setup is as flimsy as hell, the whole shield and filter moves, with the elbow it becomes nice and solid, also I did believe it or not feel a difference at lower RPM
I am now convinced!!
