Default Negative Camber Problems

I had my 2006 GT lowered with the Eibach Pro-Kit about three weeks ago. At the time the shop that did the installation told me that my car had a negative camber problem (inside of front tires wearing out more rapidly than normal). They installed a camber kit and did an alignment after they installed the springs but suggested that I buy new front tires (about $350). I have about 20,000 miles on these tires, Falken Azenis 245/35/20. Has anyone had the same issues with the front tires having negative camber problems and what didyou do to fix the problem? Did you have to buy new tires? Any advice? Thanks.

I'm confused - you say they installed a "camber kit". The problem is solved now correct?

I think that he means to ask the question " Have you guys had this problem with negative camber on your car, and had the alignment shop tell you that you need new tires?"

Question - How long was the time between the shop installing the springs and doing the alignment? Because if they did it all in the same day (which is as it should be) then this wouldn't have been an issue. And if the shop that did the install knew that you had negative camber and didn't tell you that you should have it aligned is a little weird.

My answer - No. As soon as we lowered my car I took it to the local shop and had it dialed in perfect. So I don't have negative camber at all, and my tires never wore funny.

The shop lowered the car and did the alignment the same day. They noticed the negative camber the day they did the installand saidthe tires were damaged and I needed to replace them.

And yeah my question was basically if anyone had to replace their tires because of negative camber after basically one year of use.
