My g/f can't see over the dashboard, then again she's 5'0.

Yes the seat slides and there is more ankle room in the rear seat as the front is a little higher. All I did is add washers between the track and the seat so the track is still where is always has been and the seats just sit higher. My 5'2" wife is happy with the fix and even though my drivers seat is power and I am 6', I like the front of my seat higher too. The whole thing (both seats) took about an hour. I know that my description was wordy, but for one seat it was remove 8 nuts and disconnect 2 wire plugs, throw on30 washers and then reinstall. Ba Da Bing.

Thanks for all the good ideas, I've wondered what to do since my wife is only 4'10". I was thinking about using a chair pad that was 4"-6" thick. I don't think just using washers to raise it 1/2" would help much. She can't even see out of the window! Oh, and since she weights well under 100lbs. the 'airbag off' warning light comes on if she wiggles just right! Maybe I'll need to check on an '07 power seat.

you should call up your dealer and take you, the car, and your wife there asap. They shouldn't have a problem fixing it w/o charge, as its a safety issue.

I'm glad jdt had some advice as I thought my wife was tiny, 5'2" and 100 lbs. She is heavy enough that we have never had issues with the car not knowing she was there. Taking the car to Ford sounds like a great idea. Mrs. has never been "the big one" before.
