Default Leaning out.

I've been told about leaning my car out by installing my CAI without a tune. I also read on LMPerformance (where i purchased my BBK CAI) that it requires no tune. Others have told me that your car will adjust itself to the CAI after about 200 miles. Im going to order a tune soon but I was just a little concerned about doing any damage to my engine before then.

if it's an air aintake that requires no tune, then
the resulting increased air flow does not fall
outside of the computers ability to compensate
with increased fuel to the injectors.

if the computer could not compensate, generally
you would soon get a check engine light.

if the cai manufacturer says "no tune" then i believe your
safe.

I have the bbk intake as well, and when i went in for the dyno tune he did a baseline and it was a bit lean. It wasnt "very" dangerous lean, but it was lean. I would reccomend not getting on it too much while you are waiting for your tune.
