i doesnt work that easy. first off you would need an amp to push the subs, i dont know what wattage it would be so you'd have to call ford. youd also have to run wiring through the car to the amp, ground wires, rcas, remote wire, power, etc.. it would be way to much hassle to put those ****ty subs in. get a nice amp with a pair of jl audio subs. dont waste your money or time.

JL's are overpriced and regarded as having a much higher reptuation then they actually do. you can get much better for that kinda money, unless your talking about the very high end JL subwoofers... but that argument aside, i agree with tripod...dont waste your time. custom make a box, and install a good set of subwoofers with a descent amp, and itll sound much better.

unless you are an audiophile, not many can tell the difference between subs, MTX as well are very good along with rockford fosgate for an inexpensive good bumping sub

I am an audiophile, and these were well worth my hard earned money. 2 JL Audio 10W6's powered by PPI1200.2 amp...LOL I couldn't resist uploading these. You can see the only draw back is it takes a nuclear power plant to generate enough power to move the subs hence 1200 watts bridged and 00 guage power wire!!!

IMO they are worth every penny, expecially when I set my house alarm off while pulling into the drive waybecasue of the motion sensors in the windows...LOL

Those are some nice subs there kick builds look alright as well. Just wondering with such a good setup why the Power Caps? I personally think there a waste of money a better battery / alternator will do what they do with better results without lowering the effective voltage like caps do. Know they can have there rare uses but most competition cars and most people I speak to say dont bother with them upgrade other things first. Do the Big 3, Bigger battery better alternator etc if your pushing that much power.

Im a fan of RE subs personally. Love my little 12" SE. In a small 1cu ft sealed enclosure. Planning a twin RE XXX install on the stang though. With rainbow 3 ways up front. No rear speakers at all dont like them ruin the soundstage.

I have the caps mainly to reduce the flickering head lights at night time. I have already upgraded to pulley system on my alternator, and installed the Optima Yellowtop that is visible in the engine compartment picture. The (4) 1 farad caps are left over from a friend of mines design that I got as a hand me down 6 years ago. I have incorporated them into mydesign the last 2 vehicles that I owned. Also the PPI amps are the same ones that I was running in HS back in 93' back when PPI knew how to make amps. The PPI A1200.2 takes 2x80 AMP fuses. It's a power hungry beast, and the Caps help to minimize surges on the bass notes. I listen to manily rock and blues.I don't like playing too much rap (bass) inside my carbecauseit really changes the cabin pressure and borderline hurts my ear drums, 2nd I don't want my car to leterally fall apart like my old car did.

I also disconnected and removed my rear speakers. I believe that the soundstage should only come from the front, afterall the last 15 concerts I have been through never had rear monitors behind me.
