RE: Cervinis 67 Ram Air hood installed
That looks sweet. I have a few questions as I am thinking of a Cervini's hood.
1. These come unpainted so how much was it to paint and have installed?
2. Where are your wiper washer sprayers now? i don't see the little pods on your hood like a stock unit has?
Cheers,
Max Bryant

RE: Cervinis 67 Ram Air hood installed
I have a friend that works @ a body shop so i got a great deal i think. The finish on the hood itself was great it only needed some light sanding, although the the front edgeneeded the i guess "casting" lines sanded smooth.
The spoiler was rougher, it had those "casting" lines all around the edges.
For both includingany body work, primer, base, and clearhe only wanted $550. I think itcame out great.
As far as the washer sprayers; i think the hood came with some extension hoses and new sprayers. I didn't have mine put in, as i dont think i've ever used them ever in my life with any of my other vehicles. I'll double check but i know there was a bag taped on the hood when i opened it, and it had what looked like hoses and some plasting "things". I'lllook for that bag though when i get a chance.
Oh and i don't think i've ever noticed any "hood shake" with either hood. Although the view from inside is awsome with the sun hitting it.
From this experience i can say that the quality of this hood is top-notch. I love it! The only thing i don't like is that i have to purchase a kit to make the ram air functional. Right now the openings are "open", you can see inside and see the top part of the throttle body. Im concerned about water getting in there.
Good thing it never rains out here so i just have to be careful when im washing it.
Other than that it's great!
