Default Racing Stripes?

Are all the Mustangs with Racing stripes from factory Vinyl?
How much does it cost to have them painted on? Roughly? I know it varies from shop to shop but an estimate would help in the decision process.

vinyl is the way to go super cheap easy to do yourself and leaves room for changing your mind down the road
ESPECIALLY if your going tosell it. having them painted will cost 700-1000up dollars. the choice is your but do me a favor please, please, keep the stripes over 8 inches and the gap between the two stripes under 2 inches. ive never seen something as ugly as 6-8 inch stripes separated by a 3-4 inch gap. look at any new shelby they have the best looking size stripes.

These guys are right on the money. The price on painted stripes seems a little low though, I priced around and for them to be painted smooth so you can't feel them, you're looking at around $1500-$2500 depending on shop and how busy they are.

Yes, the dealer installed stripes are vinyl- and they charge way too much too. My dealer wanted $1100 to do vinyl stripes, instead I got them online (from Baltimore Street Mods) for $150 and installed them myself.

Check my sig, 12" stripes with a 1 1/2" gap. $1600 and totally worth it.

I went with 10" stripes with a 2" gap just like the GT500, I thought that looked the best. Mine are from Baltimore Street Mods too, great price and I found them pretty easy to install.

If you have a show car get them painted!
Other wise stick with the vinyl stripes. Can you imagine getting painted ones on a street car and then getting a pebble chip on the middle of the hood stripes?
Baltimore Street Mods is getting great feedback. And their prices are good.
