Anyone know of any good shops in Michigan? Want to get some work done, (tint, vinyls, CAI+tune, 4:10 gears, and hopefully next year a supercharger) any recommendations on some GOOD shops to get these mods done?

There isn't much to choose from where I'm at (Northern Michigan). I'm a little over an hour from the Saginaw/Bay City area.Need some help finding a place ortwo.

Check with Scrmng - he's from the Saginaw area, regarding vinyl (I don't think that any of the shops mentioned do the vinyl and Scrmng uses Alternative Auto for tuning and MRT for a lot of his other performance and show mods). For tuning and performance, including supercharging, I think you will like Lidio at Alternative Auto or the guys at MRT. I haven't met anyone who used LivernoisPerformance so can't say anything about them - I used Lidio at Alternative for my tune and he is doing my gears and Tlok, and I've spoken to the people at MRT and to a lot of people who have had work done there.

I live in Howell myself and find most everything is near the Detroit area. Both MRT and Alternative Auto are probably the two best in MI. Don't know anything about Livernois. If your looking for a good place for tint and vinyl I go to Ultimate Auto in Brighton. My past seven cars I've had tinted weredone by the same guy that works there.

Luckly we live in the car capitol of the world so there is tons of stuff here. The Tune andgearsgo with Lidio. MRT is great for tons of stuff and Livernois is really a speed shop that does alot of internals and power adders. There is a few good places that do vinyl but I'm not sure who right now. I know more will answer or I'lll look around.

Yes, that was me -- that was a surprising turnout given the bad weather! I went over to the MRT Open House after Alternative Auto that morning.

If you want the best result,then do styling and performance ineach professional shop.MRT is a good choice for styling,and Livernois is a real speed shop.Go to their web site and see what happen.Lots pics and vids and make up your mind.Good luck man.

Alternative = bolt-ons and tuning
MRT = appearance and bolt-ons
Livernois = complete engine builds, bolt-ons, tuning

All are great shops with great people.
