about 90 a month for the mustang and an 03 durango for my wife and I. $500 deductable, I think that'll actually drop some though beause I bought the mustang during the current policy period and the prorated amount always seems to be higher than a full term.

I thought our rates were high... we have 3 cars for a 2 person family, no real discounts although they say so... oh my gosh! some of you pay a ton! and some of you pay next to nothing! i'd love to know what areas of the country you are all in...

My mom tells geico that I am a part time driver and that she owns the mustang and her Suzuki GranVitera. Hers is 179 month. I think it's incredible

I'm 35 y.o., $540 every 6 mo. full coverage on a '07 GT.. and BTW, I saved 30% by switching to Geico, and I'm not a caveman.

Geico is destroying me. About $1600.00 per 6 months, and I have a perfect driving record.

I just talked with Wawanesa insurance (CA and OR only) and they're offering me $520.00 per 6 months.

If you can't tell, I'm switching, haha.

I payed 908 every 3 months for my 2006 mustang GT from when I was 19 until I turned 21....now I pay 674 every 3 months...thats with a clean driving record...thanks to numerous traffic schools of course

The most disappointing thing for me I think is that I'll never end up paying below $2,700 a year for my 07 GT/CS unless I reduce coverage, such as removing collision or comprehensive. As it is, I'm already at a 50 percent discount (a new driver buying an 07 GT would be paying about $5,400 a year), and every year my discount only increases by 1 percent. Typically rates rise higher than my discount each year, which means my rates will continue to increase. And of course there are no alternatives since the auto insurance industry where I live is government run - there is only one place to go for insurance.

Wow you guys pay a lot. Here in the Dallas area I pay 90 a month for a 05 GT. No tickets, no crashes and 40 years old! And this is through State Farm so shopping around I could go lower but they have been good to me for issue I had in the past like theift, etc.

$1600 with a perfect record!? Holy cow... have you tried re-negotiating with them?

On the other hand, the voodoo insurance companies use is insane.. it may be just because of the street you live on..
