I should have gotta gt....
Man I wish I would have had some patience....I didnt have the money for the gt at the time so I figured I would go witht he v6 it still looked sweet, but my dad wanted to by from his friend and after wating for like 5 months for him to find me a manuel in the colors i liked it was almost time for me to go to college so I settled for a v6 auto...i do like my car but someone please slap me next time ill know better...
mod it ...look at rygen and scrmng's cars. They are autos and are crazyy. Some of the fastest sixbangers are autos. The auto stangs are absolutely AWESOME. Don't kick urself and start havin fun with it
V6s are fine dont kick yourself even though i have a gt a v6 would be nice too most people who hav e them are satisfied unless they drive a g t then they might not like there car anymore but oh well it dosnt really matter any way

Im thinking 200 to 300 but dont quote me on that. Ive seen a v6 pushing out 350 the the wheels running 12s so dont kick yourself.
I did this for a long time when i got my mustang i was like i shoulda waited for a Manual but now that ive modded it ive realized that stick may be a little more fun but the autos are quite fast in the mustangs

I mean the v6 mustangs are not slow by any means, they are one of the faster cars out there on the road and look bad ***,
Some of the v6s these days can beat the old 5.0 fox bodys
Whats 1/4 time for a v6 like 14 something or low 15? Thats really not bad at all theres a lot of hondas around my way that mod the hell outta their cars (VTECH) and wish they could get those type of times
Thing is in 50 years a v6 mustang will still be a collectiable in its own right

^ not so much, look at the classic stangs. for the most part they are pretty collectible, but the I6s (inline 6, didnt have v config then) are the cheapest and not very collectible.
but, a new v6 stang is about as fast ad my 65 stang with a 289 v8. technology does wonders.

210hp 240 ft lbs vs 300 hp 320 ft lbs.
seriously mod it dude. You will have fun modding it and this car can be pretty damn quick for cheap. with 2k in bolt ons you can be just as quick as the previous model gt's. people are putting down 215whp and 240ft lbs to the wheels with just bolt ons a few are even putting down more. that's about 250hp and 280 ft lbs to the crank. With some gears and a locker, that will put you right there with the last gen gt's and not that far behind stock s197 gt's....some have run low 14's with just bolt ons. Most s197 gt's run high 13's-mid 13's. You would get screwed on a trade-in now, so you might as well mod it and have some fun. Hell if you get into forced induction, stock and bolt on gt's are cake. look at rygen/fazm/etc. there are bunches of 4.0's on the stock blocks/trannies in the 12's with almost all the forced induction guys having over 300rwhp. You bought the fastest new car 20,000 bucks can buy, be happy.
