mmm not ENTIERLY true, you have to be a halfway decent driver, ive seen an s197 lose to a maro cuz the driver was new to stick and shifted like my grandma.

SS is fater than a Z28 im pretty sure. I think it has an intake or something kind of like the WS6.

It will be a close race against a Z28 or t/a. I raced a t/a one night when i was stock and he had catbacks and I think a lid and he put 2 cars on me.

LS1 , aka the Camaro SS is whats going to give you trouble. If they are completely stock and you have a lot of the bolt ons then you should be able to if you can drive but not by much. Theres so many things that factor into this , theres a lot more than winning a race than HP numbers, z28s shouldnt be a problem

Z28's still have the LS1's in them. They are just rated at 300 or 305 hp compared to the SS' 320

I thought the z28s had the LT1s like the old SS or did they put the LS1 in the z28 when they put it in the SS. I mean i could be wrong ,

chevy says they have 340hp....which basically means they have probably like 360. the ls1's were underrated. The late model camaros and trans ams had ls1's. I beleive they stopped putting in the lt1 in uhh....97? The ss and ws6 had i beleive a bit different suspension and some intake/tune differences, maybe exhaust....really not that much. They were all fast once the ls1 went in, you gotta watch out for all of them.
