So you have read about the problems with them and you ordered anyway??[sm=chairshot.gif]
I did a search and found that most of the complaints stemmed from lack of communication on their part over the internet, mainly with online ordering. I was hoping to avoid this by calling in my order. FYI, if you call it in, there is a $10 charge for processing or something dumb like that. Most people I saw that called their orders in didn't have a problem. I guess they just lost another customer, it's been 24 hours since I contacted them and no response. Screw it, I'm keeping the violators, I'll consider it saving $40 and I won't be so pissed.

yea.....so It's been 2 business days, 4 days total, and I haven't heard a word from them. Screw it, I'm gonna install the Pypes and keep them. I actually looked at these before and decided against them because I was under the impression that it was a chambered muffler. Now that I know it is a straight through design and is all stainless, I think I should have ordered them anyway. I'll just consider it a vendor who I plan not to do any more business with giving me a deal on an exhaust setup.

Stangdude, I'll be interested in hearing what you think of your violators, I like mine just fine. The only "thugthugdrone" is when the throttle is completely closed, I thought that was interesting! Despite their straight through design, they aren't crazy loud. The nice thing is they sound different, different enough that other cars seem to back off a bit! Also, I called the Pypes 800 number when I was installing them and they were very helpful. Good luck.

I think I'll have to call that 800 number, the driver's side looks great, but I can't get that passenger side to line up for the life of me. It hangs lower and to the left (kinda used to that.....nevermind) and actually sticks out 1/2" longer than the other one. I'd assume I have to bend the rear mount to fix the position, but I'm at a loss on how to move it in, I'm in all the way to the tab on the exhaust pipe. As far as sound, I love them so far, there is a drone at 2500, but if I cruise at that speed, just click the O/D button and it jumps 2-300 RPM's and the drone is gone. I have a little rattle at about 1500 that I haven't figured out yet too, but if the radio is on, you can't hear it either.

You need to make adjustments at the h pipe connection...that will fix your problems.

That thought did cross my mind, I just wanted to talk to them first to see if there was any other ideas. Thanks for the input though. My car should be going in the body shop to get stripes painted in the next week or two, I'll probably use that time to use his lift and work on it that way, better than jacking it up and working on my back.

Howarmat's right. If you loosen the H-pipe (rear part) you have a LOT more leeway for adjustments.

Great, thanks guys! Here's another one for ya then, am I going to have alignment issues when I get my FRPP X-pipe later on? I'm getting the splice-in one that keeps the cats.
