GT500 goes Hollywood Star
Well it appears that Will Smith's character, Robert Neville, drives a red GT500 Cobra in the upcoming movie, I Am Legend.
Heh, of all the cars Robert Neville could have chosen as the sole survivor, given the movie's premise, he picked a GT500 Cobra. Ilove it.

Her are some more pix from movie.
I dont know about you guys, but even if it gets sh!ty reviews, which I doubt, because the critics love Will, Im still going to see this and brobably buy the DVD just for the car.

+ 1. The art department wouldn't waste their time cloning a GT500. It would be less expensive for them to buy the actual car (likely at invoice from Ford's promotion department), than to devote the manpower to converting them.

With million dollar budgets, what is, lets say 10 GT500's going to run them. 500-600k. That is nothing for them. Look at what REDLINE cost them in cars and there were no big names there. You got Will Smith in a blockbuster type movie and you think they will give him clones. And then all you guys would be calling Will a POSER. I am sure Ford is going to step into this one and give them the cars for advertisement sake, maybe even some gutted versions for stunts. Lets just enjoy it for what it is. He could have used a Vette, The New Camaro, New Challenger, or some othe Hipo Japanese or European Make. No, they use a Ford, A Mustang, A GT500.
