Mike ... your car looks amazing. Nice job on both the install and the striping.
Thanks Martin, I appreciate it. I continue to be very pleased with this spoiler. I get lots of positive comments on it all the time. Probably the best 190 dollar appearance mod I have done.

And it covers the all 4 of the factory OEM spoiler holes?
Is this correct?
Yes, you are very correct. It uses two of the factory holes, but covers all four. You also have the option to drill two additional holes to the outboard sides of the spoiler. Some do, some don't. I did. In noting the thread above from the poster that felt his spoiler was possibly warped, this would probably become necessary....

Thanks again,
Mike

Not sure if its been asked before, but how much does THE SPOILER STORE unit differ from the OEM GT500 unit? Are they exact clones?

Way to bring out a thread out of nowhere, but I just had one question. Where did you drill the extra holes for the spoiler or did you just use 3m tape?

edit: just read two posts up that you drilled the extra two holes...how hard were the additional holes to drill?

FYI ... I didn't drill the extra holes with my install ... I used the two in the two factory holes and the 3M tape is holding it solidly on the trunk lid ...

Hey thanks for the quick response. I'm looking more into them as we speak.

Here is a pic that shows the factory holes used, the 3M tape partially covering the other factory hole, and the additional holes I drilled....Hope this helps. Drilling the additional holes was not that big a chore, but from the underside, I stepped up in drill bit size about three times, in an effort to not twist the sheet metal. That, and the fact that I chose to countersink the additional screws, so I can put a plug in the holes....

Thanks for all the info. A couple more questions before I forget. There are only two factory drilled holes in which our spoilers are attached to? When you put the new spoiler on you just attached the ducktail through the factory holes and redrilled. I just want to be clear before I go through with this.

No, not correct. If you look at my third picture, you can see the factory mounting holes to the right. There are two factory holes on each side of the trunk, for a total of four. This spoiler uses one of the factory holes on each side, for a total of two. On the left side of my third picture, you can see the hole I drilled. One of those on each side, should you decide to drill the two outboard holes....
