I'm glad I came across this thread, gonna pick one up myself. How long did it take to receive the spoiler? How hard is it to remove the OEM and install the Shelby?

Looks great BTW!
I ordered on the 4th, and received it today the 16th. The OEM is not too bad to remove, just 4 bolts, and heat up the adhesive pad with a blow dryer. Cut through the adhesive with some fishing line, and pop it off....Remove the residual sticky with some Goof Off.....The Shelby spoiler is not permanently installed yet, gotta stripe it. But it installs super easy, two of the factory bolts, and pre-applied 3M tape....

Does the Shelby ducktail cover the factory holes made by the GT spoiler? If so I may do this in the future

EDIT: Whoops, nevermind. Thats awesome, might have to do this!

I used the factory pc. since I ordered it with all the parts and had it painted with the bumper. Install is uper easy and it does not stand oyt really bad like the factory GT wing but it looks more like a natural extension of the car. I wouls suggest it to all no matter where you get it from.

Thanks Dave, I almost just left it on without striping it, but figured that just might not work.... Like I said before, that one pic of yours in front of the harbor pretty much sealed the deal for me to buy!!

It looks better for some reason but I'm hoping that in those pics it's just not seated down all the way. It has a big gap there! I take it that it'll be more flush after you stripe it?
Not too bad a price if the paint is a match!

Excellent paint match...and yep, it is not seated down onto the 3M tape. Just put on temporary to mark for the stripes......

So was the factory spoiler taped on? If so, how'd you get it off?

There are adhesive pads under the stock spoiler posts. I had already changed the spoiler before, (swapped MG for Black) but what you can do is heat the area up with a blow dryer, use some fishing line between two "handles" and saw through the adhesive...after the spoiler is off, then use some Goof Off to remove the remaining adhesive pad. That adhesive is a B***H to get off.....
