That and it's easy to say STOCK and not be. A New GT is not going to run 13s let alone 13.3. On the other hand, It don't take a lot to make these cars run in the 13s, That little 281 really responds to mods. Just think if Ford made a real motor for the Mustang, like 460 cubic in.
What the hell are you talking about? I ran a 13.7 bone stock in high humidity in my '06 manual. The only "mod" I did was to drop my rear tire pressure.

I have that dvd, JDM perf did all the mods on that gt stang that already had a fang perf body kit........As far as drivers dipping into the low low 13's how much are these people tipping the scale at 130-140 lbs. What are the odds of someone like me dipping into the low 13"s probally not likely since I am 6'2 255lbs

Did you just fall out of your chair, hit yourself in the head on the desk, and decide to type something?

****News Flash****
Some of you road ragers can't really drive your cars at the track!!!
You even don't understand 60', R/T, etc.... You can get in the 13.4 range with a 5sp, 3.55 gears and stock tires with a well prep track and good driver

Well I must have a good car because I did a 13.4 my second time ever at a track. My only performance mod is a Granatelli CAI. Stock 17" wheels w/Pirellis, 1/2 tank gas, and its an automatic.

The best thing to do is learn the proper launch techniques. I think the NHRA website has a "Dragracing 101" writeup that helped me a lot. If you want I can PM you with the text.

Was it stock tires also or were they different....that alone could easily get you some better times.
