Default Sequentials! <--- Update & Installed!

It is finally done and they look AWESOME!

This is the kit I bought: http://www.classicdesignconcepts.com...splay/635.html

Before the purchase:
CDC's email customer service person, Paul was excellent and responded to my question in 1 day. My only hesitation was if I had to remove the shaker1000 subwoofer to install the sequentials and the answer is truly NO but in my opinion, it would be MUCH easier if you are able to.

(note to ford: how the hell am I supposed to change the light bulbs with the subwoofer so close to the taillight housing???)

The installation took about a total of 1 hour with the help of my brother and husband (who handed me the tools and tightened the nuts that I couldn't)

General instructions to see if you are up to it:

Remove the plastic covering inside the trunk that covers the taillight housing.

Remove the rug and rug pieces.

Use an 11 socket (wrench on the right) to unscrew the bolts that hold the taillights in - there are 3 on each side. (right side is the pain).

Unclip harness and Remove taillight - switch out factory harness & bulbs with CDC harness and repeat on other side.

Plug both in and have someone test them out, the reverse/flashers and blinkers/brake...

Place everything back together!

Thanks Scott and Garry for your help! LOVE THEM!

Great mod...I love mine. I find I use the turn signals more than I used to. Too bad we can see then though. I look in the rear view and see people pointing at my tail lights all the time.[8D]

What is the year of your stang? They are quite different between the
05, 06 and 07 in respect to the taillight wiring. Round or Flat where
the wires go thru the sheetmetal? Which Dynamite Stick kit did you
use and for what year model/wire style was it? More info please.[8D]

hi 157 - the link above is the exact harness i purchased. my GT is an 07...

It says it fits 05-07, but before you order, email CDC to verify... the earlier years (before 05) have a sep. harness/lights

from the CDC website:
OUR Prices and Applications:
$149.00 -- 110631 - 2005-7 Sequential Taillights

and there is a round rubber piece in my 07 through the sheet metal, not flat...

if i can help with anything else, let me know...

Better sequentials for the same $$ as CDCs.
