Is this a performance or an appearance mod?
is this a real question?

100% appearance, absolutely nothing to gain performance wise. I'm just looking to dress up under the hood for carshows a little bit.

yeh those mwag caps are sick.....but doing any of this stuff can sort of limit your ability to have a strut brace.....are they even a worth while mod?

I was thinking about this today and I think I can still make it work. If I run out of threads, I can always use a jam nut and washer instead of the factory nuts over the strut brace and use loc-tite on everything. That would gain enough room to still use the caps, but I'd have to turn the ends of the caps down to allow for the thickness of the strut brace. That part is not a big deal, 10 minutes of work for the 4 of them.
