I got my replica GT-500 rims in yesterday and installed everything on the car. I was wondering what tire preasure where you all running. The tires say 50 psi for the 255-45-18 and 46 for the 285-40-18. Is it normal to use the tire rated preasure or the door sticker rated preasure. I have them at about 44 psi each right now and the ride feels really rough. If I use the ford preasure of 36 I believe will it damage the tires? Pics to come later!!!

dude.. I think your reading the MAX psi.... run 32 all around..... you have way too much air in them now

I was thinking I did but wanted to be sure I would not damage the tire by running that low

I would run 32-36psi depending on your taste.

I run 35 psi in mine and they wear perfectly all the way aroundSame tire sizes as you are running

YES it did until I went to 32 psi they are now much more lovable. They wont break loose in 3rd anymore I quess thats a good thing.

44 is too much. Bring it down to 32 or so.

32 is more than enough, at 44 even a bump will make the tires explode[&:]
